So dumb. My litmus test is this: if I start to see cars like this (Supra, C8 Vette, CTR, etc.) around my part of the country (Minneapolis), then it’s no longer rare enough to have a markup. There’s no way Minnesota is getting first run allocations for crazy desirable cars, so if I’m seeing them, then there are enough in the wild for someone to get it at MSRP.
And I have seen C8 Corvettes rolling round. So there you go.

WTF indeed. Knucklehead put LT1 in the header but it’s 1LT.
I think I’ve seen one C8 on the road here in CT. There’s always one dude that has to have the latest so if it’s worth an extra 48k (it’s not imho )

Ah, but this is a 2020, shortened model year due to the COVID shutdown. They only built 2,831 in this color scheme and with this option package before the factory closed, and the date code shows that this was assembled on the second to the last day before the shutdown order was issued.
Is what a bald, beer bellied 60something year old millennial will be spewing while he sits in a lawn chair next to this Corvette at a car show sometime in the 2050s.

Late to the thread, but even here in the Quad Cities (eastern Iowa), we already have more than a handful of C8s running around.
Give it another year and the C8 will be a dime-a-dozen like every Corvette before it.
